Elementary began as an open-source project in 2022 and launched a paid cloud product in 2024\. It says more than 1,500 data teams use its software. Boomi did not disclose terms; Dealroom, linking to Calcalist, put the price at about $43M in cash and stock. The deal follows Boomi's earlier purchase of Lunar.dev.
