Cloudflare makes Basin, its Iceberg-based data platform, generally available

Cloudflare moved its developer data platform out of beta as Basin, a serverless service built on Apache Iceberg and R2 for ingesting, cataloguing and querying analytical data. (Cloudflare Blog; ITdaily)

The former Pipelines, R2 Data Catalog and R2 SQL products were renamed Basin Pipelines, Basin Catalog and Basin SQL. Cloudflare does not charge transfer fees when other clouds' tools query the data. (Cloudflare Blog; ITdaily)
